The Sixteenth Annual Meeting was held on August 3-5, 2006 at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus in Miami, Florida. Special guests at this conference included Ricardo López Murphy, former Minister of the Economy and Defense of Argentina and candidate for the Presidency of that country, and César Vidal Manzanares, a well-known Spanish historian, writer, and journalist.
